Do you like your new audi?
feels strong and pulls nice, I like it.

How long have you owned it?
Just about a week now.

Why did you decide to buy one?
Always wanted a b5, to be honest I'm very new to audi's and I worked a little with neons before, they seem to be a bit different, considering I have the 2.8L, AWD is nice for wisconsin winters.

Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi?
I really wanted a b5 s4, or a '04 WRX. Those are a little more expensive for my taste, still too young to be making enough.

First one i bought was cheap, very cheap, once i had that one then searched some fourms and realized i didnt want the 96 fwd and needed a facelift Quattro i found one and fell in love

Nope just finding what i could afford and show my friends their prelude, tiburon, and celica are not the hottest car in the world

Default happy audi owner

i have had my audi for a month now, i love it in more ways than i count!!!

sporty, i find it nicer than my dads beamer,

reliable, although lots of little things go wrong on the whole its as solid as a rock

safe!! with quattro i feel perfectly safe in the middle of a raging blizzard.
I decided to go with audi after a lot of investigation and thought. I always kne w i wanted german, but for a while i was always leaning more towards bmw, as my dad has had one since before i was born. Then i moved to a place where awd is a not just a luxuary. Even though it is almost 11 years old it still looks nicer than most cars on the road, and i love the respnse you get cruising at highway speeds, i have no problem passing anyone on the roads. As the first car i have purchased on my own i couldnt be happier and look forward to many more happy miles down the road

2000 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8t

1. LOVE IT!

2. Since October, but it needed transmission repairs, so I've only been driving it since January.

3. After I saw several Audis/VWs on a trip I took.

4. An older Mercedes (1997) - VERY glad I got the Audi instead

Default New B5

Hey guys,
i just purchased a 1998 red Audi a4 avant 2.8L, 93k, auto/tip, winter pack, some s-line things (steering wheel, wheels, suspension). this is my first audi, just bought it last week. unfortunately i discovered a nice oil leak couple days later (main seal) so decided to take it to the shop. got it back yesterday! and found there is no change with the oil leak lol. now i have to take it back....
with previous cars, ive always joined forums, they really helpful and the people are great, also you learn a lot! which i need lol because im blind when it comes the these euro engines lol.

ill post pics soon!

I'm on my first Audi as well. Mine has bad seals on the trans and a nasty interior but I got it real cheap. I am tearing down the interior now for some cleaning, carpet replacement, and custom paint work. I will get to the trans when I am happy with the interior. They are nice cars for sure!

Welcome to the forum!

Here is my mess as of right now. I need to buy a socket tomorrow and then I will get the steering column out and get everything done.
I cant believe I have only had this car a month!
