I love my a4 I never owned another car except an audi s90 so I upgraded a little bit I've had it a little over a year and the color of mine made me really want it. It's a metallic pelican blue and I haven't seen another like it

absolutely love it, best car ive ever owned, and close to the best car ive ever drove all around

just about three months, and i am amazed by how many answers ive already found on here just by searching on my phone, so thank you already, a big thank you
Why did you decide to buy one?
i needed something with either 4 or awd for winter, better gas mileage than my explorer, and something fun and sexy looking for summer
Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi?
maybe a a6???, to be honest subaru was in the running, i just like the idea of a german car, tried american, still have one from japan, cant afford italian, and i just love the look of the late 90's early 00 audi's
all of that being said i find it ironic that i finally decided to join this site tonight and on my way over to a friends (after getting off of work early, gearing up for my day off tomorrow) i hit a deer, now i live in wisconsin so you might assume that ive run in to this situation before, but due to my astounding luck i managed to avoid hitting one untill i finally got my audi. So basically, hello everyone glad to be a part of the community here, and i'll be back in a couple weeks once i have my baby fixed, cheers.

Just bought a 98 A4 Quattro with 2.8L, auto trans.
The car has some front end damage from hitting a deer. I am in the process of getting new headlights and a hood.
It appears the car has all the normal problems, headlamp switch, cruise not working, ABS light on.
I bought it as a project and a project I have.
I'm so happy I can't stand it.

1. I love it. never goin back to 2 wheel drive.
2. goin on 13 months- but new to the forums.
3. I liked the car after drivin my friends b5, but didnt plan on buying one till i found a good deal out of nowhere.
4. not really. wasnt even plannin on buying a car, saw the audi while on craigslist searching for parts for my 87 RX7
now i gotta go on a quick off-shoot and list mods, been spendin a little money on her recently and finally have somethin to talk about- shes an 01 silver S line 1.8t 5 speed, now with ECS stage one clutch, ECS test pipe, custom 2.5" from there back, 034 track density trans mounts, apikol poly rear diff bushings/carrier, H&R springs on used vmaxx shocks, Carbonio intake, ECS carbon engine cover, Forge FMIC, Forge 007 dv, APR stage 2 chipping, b5 S4 wheels, 6000k HID's (goin soon for 10,000k cause one of the 6's died the other day), ECS coil pack hold downs, ECS magnetic oil/trans plugs... thats pretty much it. she wont get much more done to her- goin to afghanistan soon and when i get back im buyin a B5 S4 Avant and keepin the A4 as a daily

A4 1.8L Turbo
1. I wouldn't say its new to me, but yes I love my Audi.
2. Gosh, I think I have had my 2000 A4 since 2007; so almost 4yrs.
3. I bought this car after I was last car was totaled in a city crash (not my fault at all; chick was on cell and drove through red light and drove right into the driver side of my Honda)
4. I honestly wasn't sure what I was going to get. I test drove some newer Honda's and a Hyundai, but after stopping in the Audi / Porshe dealership, this one was the right price and had all the upgrades I wanted.
Now I just need to get busy fixing a few things; cracked windshield (my fault) trim is falling off driver / passenger doors, back window motor is shot, needs replaced, rip in driver seat, dash lights need replaced, can barely see readouts.
All in all, I only have had to replace the distributor, and do general maintenance. Worth every penny.

i saw it and had to have it plus my Fiero gt project wasnt going as planned and some one else kind of stole my other car >:l
