Does anyone else get snotty looks? I have noticed in the week I've owned the 2001 1.8t I tend to get looks. I only paid $3700 for mine with new, brand new tires, and a warranty on the engine and tyranny. I love it though and screw the dude in the busted civic/neon that's falling apart and probably paid the same price as I did for my a4

Do you like your new audi? oh yeah

How long have you owned it? about 3 days

Why did you decide to buy one? i needed a car and it was only 800

Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi? not really i was just looking for something cheap

i always wanted an audi but could never afford one. i found a stolen recovery on craigslist that has a great engine just needs a new steering column, new driver side lock, new center everything, sunroof doesnt work, and whatever else i havent found yet.

Do you like your new audi? Love it! But had a few issues that need to be resolved and mileage could be better...

How long have you owned it? One week

Why did you decide to buy one? Wanted one since college. Got a good deal on a 2001 A4 Quattro 2.8.

Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi? Boring Japanese cars...

i always wanted an Audi. Thrilled to own one now.

Hi, new to the forum, just got my first A4 Quattro, 2 days ago. 2001 silver 1.8 turbo , 5 speed, with 157k on clock. Light hit on a guardrail, so looking for a driver side front fender and maybe a door. Have already pulled out the electronic ABS module and sending it off soon to be repaired .Might need newer tires, but these will pass inspection. Paid $1900 for it, timing belt and H2o pump done at 118k, front wheel bearings at 120k, and brand new front pads and rotors. Car seems to have been well maintained, oil change just 300 miles ago. Will think about changing differential and tranny fluid soon. Drivers leather heated seat has a couple rips , so trying to look at options there. Been devouring all the info at this site, it's great. Gonna sell a Rav4 I had before this, no comparison on smiles per gallon. Summer car is a 95 BMW convert 318, Quattro will be my winter ride.
