Do you like your new audi?
Im new here, i decided to register because i picked up an 2000 Audi A4 1.8 with the BOSE sound system and the cool tan on black interior. 5 speed manual tranny. Car was overheating when i got it so i did a timing belt by following a DIY on here and now the car is good. Has a milltek exhaust on it and S4 wheels. Black on the exterior and hasn't been in any accidents, I'm the 3rd owner. Planning on getting it lowered, putting K04's on, and a FMIC. Obviously getting a chip as well after those upgrades

How long have you owned it? For a couple months

Why did you decide to buy one? Winter was coming up and I needed a winter car

Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi? Nope, Im an audi fan

 

Just got my audi 2 days ago... i got it by indirect inheritance, and i love it so far... Theres a few little problems that id love to get fixed, but it drives great, its comfy, and it gets decent gas mileage.

Cant wait to learn more about it and get it how i want it!

Question tho i been thinking about getting stage 1 ECU from APR, but im not sure if my car can take it since it has 60k miles on it already. if it can then i was also thinking about going ATP on my turbo basically changing a bigger turbo for my b8 and getting a downpipe for it but is that all i need? do i need to change anything else to make sure nothing breaks from the high stress from the bigger turbo? anyways thanks for any help!

 

Hey everyone I'm new to the site and first audi I've owned. I have a 99 audi a4 quattro 1.8 turbo awd. Loving it so far blast to drive. Im out of north ms. Ihave read several post about the airbag light as I have this issue. How do I get to scan it?

 

And are there any normal issues I should watch for?

okay, so I'm not really new here (been registered a while) but I've been lurking a lot and haven't posted that much so here goes...

We had a 2001.5 S4 Negaro Blue 6spd (loved the car but not the expensive upkeep/maintenance and break/fix)... AND had it since brand new too so that is long gone..

really missed the b5 platform and bought a 2.8 32v back in November 2010 which I've been daily driving about a month now (It was my husband's daily driver but now that he has a brand new truck and my 2010 TDI is sold AND I'm waiting for my 2012 R order, it is my daily)
