Hello Audi A4 Members
Just wanted to see how many of the B5 forum are new members. The demographic of audi ownership is changing as the prices are more in the reach of the younger generation.

Do you like your new audi?
Love it and will keep it for a long time
How long have you owned it?
I just bought it on Thursday and picked it up Friday
Why did you decide to buy one?
I have all ways loved Audi and since I am German/American it is good
Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi?
I can't say that there was I just wanted a nice car and well happen to get lucky and find this one on Craigslist

We love our new-to-us 2004 A4 Quattro
How long have you owned it?
About 6 months
Why did you decide to buy one?
Loved the look of the car, gorgeous!
Wanted decent gas mileage and had to have 4WD
Was there another vehicle you were thinking of before you bought the Audi?
The wife really wanted a Ford Edge but it was out of our price range for now. When we get her Edge I get the A4, can't wait!

1.I Love my new to me 98 Santorini blue 2.8q 5sp shes a little rough around the edges. but then, so am I.

1996 A4 Quattro just over 105,000 miles
1. I like it except the suspension problems I have had
2. About two months
3. I liked the look and feel of the car, and I heard German cars are better built

Hi! I registered a long time ago when I came into posession of a 1990 Audi 200 but that car has long since gone to greener pastures. But I recently got a 2001 A4 1.8T FWD. I kinda wanted a Quattro but the car I bought was in better shape and had lower mileage than any of the Quattros in my area, and it had never been modified. Plus it was a bit cheaper.

I wanted to buy an '07 GTI, but got denied for a loan because of a lack of credit history. So I said "eff it" and decided I could still have a turbo Volkswagen for half what I originally wanted to put down on a newer car. I figured the 1.8T would be easier to maintain than the 5-cylinder in my old 200 since it's a much easier engine to get replacement parts for.
Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi?
I started out thinking I afford a BRZ or FRS, but then I got a bit more realistic and started looking at used GTI's so that wouldn't have to devote ALL of my income to my stupid car. Then I got denied for financing and got super-realistic.

Helping my son buy his first car. 98 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro. It definitely needs some work done but nothing keeping it from being driven. Will be teaching him wrenching on this thing.
Do you like your new audi?
Well, we wouldn't have bought it if we didn't.
My son really likes it, and that it's not the same thing that everyone else drives.
How long have you owned it?
Officially transferring title today (with any luck).
Why did you decide to buy one?
Very good condition for the budget we have. Looks really good, drives well. I've always secretly liked how A4's looked.
