Alright well to start im from PA, i love driving my A4 it is the best and the most fun car i have ever drove before.

Do you like your new audi?
A: Yes, she performs great in rain/snow. The quattro is amazing, i cant even describe how much i love it, Currently everything is stock and i plan on eventually building it up once i get a couple problems fixed...she likes to over heat when i drive.
How long have you owned it?
Just bought her roughly two days ago
Why did you decide to buy one?
My brother use to have a 98 and he loved it to death before it blew up on him, i talked to him about them and got his thoughts on it, yes theyre a little $ for maintenance but im not worried about that, if i have a car that i love to drive and have then im going to keep it, plus if you do dailey maintenance then it shouldnt be that big a problem
Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi? i thought about BMW, Porsche but Audi's have always had my eye

Do you like your new Audi?
- Haven't really used it enough to get a feel for it. Been parked all winter waiting for parts.

How long have you owned it?
- Almost two months.

Why did you decide to buy one?
- I needed to get a car before June, because of weird Norwegian insurancelaws. And it was cheap as chips. Only 5000 Nkr.

Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the Audi?
Anything and everything, newer than 1985 and cost less than 10.000 Nkr

Basically I got the Audi because I needed a cheap car fast, and it filled all criteria. I need to do some work on it, but in 6 months, it'll be a cheap, solid car worth twice what I bought it for. Because I've been waiting for parts, I haven't really tested it yet, so have yet to get a feel for how it drives, fuel consumption, comfort, reliability and such.

Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi? vw jetta 1.8t, passat 1.8t this one was cheaper just the waste gate flap broke

Got my A4 1996 2.6 Petrol Quattro last week, 3 owners from new immaculate inside and out only got 73k on clock, looking for a workshop manual for it, all the best mark

Yes, as long as I can figure out why I have excess pressure in the coolant system..I'm a home mechanic, so should be fixed soon(: any ideas shoot em out thermostat good, water pump good, heater core may be plugged... Radiator...hope not. I believe there might still be air trapped in the system.

How long have you owned it?
4 weeks, bought it off a friend for a grand(not mechanically inclined) didn't want to work on it. So I figured why not learn new stuff and work on a audi that he was just going to scrap...
Why did you decide to buy one?
Cheap at least I think... Bought car:1000$

Coolant temp sensor with coolant flange and sensor plug:25$

1. Yes, I love it
2. Today we have our one month anniversary
3. Although this is one of the first a4 b5 ever made (year 1994) it has no rust what so ever. I knew it would have some technical problems and that parts aren't really cheap, but at least when you fix it - you know its for a while, and besides I wanted a car which I can learn some stuff about mechanics since I had no experience at all, but now my lovely Audi has taught me how to change clutch, fuel and oil filters, change all belts, thermostat, water pump, etc..
   and the looks... cmon, have you seen it? I am willing to make a bet that its more beautiful then my unborn child
4. I looked around for some vw, mazda and even alpha romeo, but they just didn't feel like a smart investment...

Yes! I love it! Even though it doesn't have a lot of HP it still gets up and moves!

I got my Audi about a month ago.

Why did you decide to buy one?
I have pretty much only had Hondas but I have always wanted a German engineered car. Don't get me wrong, Hondas are so reliable but they are toys compared to Audis!

Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi?
Yes. I almost bought a 1993 Honda Accord until I saw this 1998 Audi A4!
