New Caliper, Brakes not bleeding, What spell needs cast?
There was fluid in the old caliper, it was a working caliper. But I bought a new one... then found it was actually the guide pins that were frozen causing the rotor to stick. I said "screw it" and replaced the entire assembly. (Caliper and Bracket, pins, boots, the whole nine)
When I went to bleed em out, I was using a vacuum to try and pull fluid through. Either that sucker doesn't work or something else is going on. That brake does work normally.
I just figured there was a magic word I had to hollar at it, or maybe a special spin move, maybe even a chant and it would work.
But alas, I have given up, it is at Monro Muffler and Brake right now. They flushed them last time and it was all **** when I got it back, they said they would do it for $20 this time around so... deal!
I asked them about it and they said "Those Audi's are touchy because of the hydraulic system."
