i just got my first AUDI, it's a dark red 99, 5 speed stick, AWD, with white interior with all power accessories {think}, sunroof.





well there she is.

i'd like to lower it a lil now then put 18's on it later. i'd also like to bypass the top speed governor. i looked at some chip, didn't really see any. also any thing any one can tell me about the car that i did see could you tell me. like i think it the a cd changer in the trunk and a cassette up front, i think it has a Bose system or maybe not {unsure}, does it also have the sub in the rear?

lol, i bought the car cash but haven't picked it up yet, cuz i couldn't get them to go any lower on it. so it's still at the dealer till i scrounge up some change to get it tagged and insured.

Chipping a 2.8 is useless and there aren't many power upgrades for it. Lowering it is a good idea and you can check if it's the BOSE system by looking at the speaker cover in the doors. They'll say BOSE. Nice car though, looks clean!

how about bypassing the governor, can i do it myself or is it a programer or is it a sent in re-flash.

i'm a lil more used to lifted jeeps and camaros then i am audi's, but my sister had a A4 before and i loved driving the thing so i saw this one and jumped on it.

its bose and your car has the sports package =] also your car is a 99.5 which is good! it means you car went through the new update of interior and exterior stuff also a updated engine in timing i believe if you want to lower it go h&r sport but if you want to go really low go racing also a chip you can get one from apr or giac for about 11hp

 

wow, that's awesome. i was kind of thinking it was the 99.5 sport because of the steering wheel. my friend who came on the test drive pointed that out to me but he wasn't really sure.
