No radio!!!

Default No radio!!!

so... i have a 98 a4 quattro with a bose stereo .. i disconected my battery wile changing it and when put back in my stereo needed reset with the password.. no problem cuz iv done it twice before, but this time it was dark out i was tired and i wasnt paying attension to the guide i was following for it..
hold fm2+bs(or somethin, the button under fm2)
till 1000 comes up
push 2 three times
push 3 three times
push 4 four times
ending up with 1334

i pushed 5 instead of 4 and wasnt paying attension at all i did this twice and now the radio wont go to the 1000 mode to enter the code. idk what to do now i disconnected the battery again hoping to reset it and be able to enter the code but no luck.. any info on resetting this ?? thx

This happened to me, except I didn't know what code to look for in the first place. Your radio is locked up for an hour. Turn the key to the "on" position, turn the radio on, and wait for an hour or so. After improperly entering the code so many times the radio locks itself up so now you can't even try. This feature was put in to **** thieves off so they would pitch the radio instead of trying to sell it again. After that hour you should be able to put the code in.

ok cool thx man.. did you have any battery life after an hour? or did you have it on a charger or running

I had battery life after the hour. If you are worried about battery life, then just start car after a half hour and let it run for like 10 minutes or so.
