not starting
Believe it or not, but a bad temperature sensor will make a 2.8L almost impossible to start. They act like a flooded carbureted car because the computer thinks the car is hot when its not. also if you temp and oil lights are flashing when your cranking it, check your crankshaft sensor it may be bad. Can you get any fault codes out of the engine controller?
Are you getting any codes? Throwing parts at it can be pricey, you have to check codes or you'll end up replacing everything on the car and may never find it.
I got a crankshaft sensor signal low when my crankshaft sensor went bad, insulation was coming off the wire between the back of the engine and the connector on the fire wall.
