Not your average oil pressure issue
I think im going to try the kerosene engine flush, pull the oil filter housing and clean it and the add mobile one with a oem filter. If that doesnt work i guess i will buy the .9 bar oil light switch to replace the 1.4bar thats in it right now.
Don't bother. The OEM, Bosch, Mann, and even Wix and Mobil1 replacements are cheap. No manufacturer uses K&N as original equipment. There is a reason for that. Although, I've never been a fan of K&N products...
Wait, you're trying to diagnose poor oil pressure and you have incorrect sensors installed?
What's your procedure for doing this?
I first picked up a Mobil 1 filter, but then I realized that AutoZone was running a special on any 5 quarts of Castrol Syntec and a K&N filter for $26.99....I figured K&N would have at least made a good oil filter.
As far as the diesel flush goes it scares the hell out of me also, but a guy i know does it to his 70 something dodge truck and it runs like a top. Im still debating on doing this
