Could be like mine. Someone got in a small front-end accident with it. My power steering line brackets broke so my outside temp sensor and power steering line were laying in the bottom of the bumper. I found a bracket (part number 8D0820536C) to hold the outside temp sensor. I just ordered it last week though and haven't received it yet but it says it is for all B5 A4's. As far as a new bracket for the power steering line, I haven't been able to find one. The bracket that holds the power steering line seems to be permanently attached to the power steering line and I can only find them being sold with a new power steering line. I guess I'm going to have to try to make my own bracket to hold it in place. Let me know if you find a bracket for the power steering line though. I would be interested in getting one.

Pull the cover off the PS reservoir. If I remember correctly, the sensor plugs in under there. There are 5-6 connectors there and I think the sensor is the lime green, small round one.

Hi I'm Jay and I'm trying to replace my sensor also. I bought a used one on EBay used OEM and has a 3 ft cord and I'm trying to find out where it plugs in? I know where the 5 or 6 plugs are by the power steering reservoir. should the plug be lime green in color that goes to the outside temp sensor? Thanks Jay
