Painting Headlight?
Hey guys, I searched around for this but couldn't find anything. If you know of a link please post and not flame, I'm not trying to spam.
So I have been wanting to buy new headlights for my car and the ones I found that I like are literally the same thing as stock, just a black interior housing(I'll post the link, tell me the difference if there is one). So I figured I'd save myself $200 and just paint my current ones. So is this doable?

You can do it but it's delicate work to separate the housing from the "glass". Be sure to prep everything carefully and use heat-resistant paint as well. When you put it back together, seal the housing with clear silicone to make sure water doesn't enter and condense.
FWIW, I have the lights in the link and love them.
