Mirrors is a common thing, my passenger is the same way! And yes.

 

What causes that in the mirrors? Is there a fix?

The brown stuff you're seeing is the "anti-dazzle" backing peeling off the mirror. It happens to everyone lol. The replacement glass is wicked expensive when ECS has it in stock
