Piston Question
Its a nice feature but not going to make a huge difference. Just get what you can and get it up and running. Everything Bob sells on qedpower is top quality and will handle more power than you will ever make
I gave Bob at qed a call today, he wasnt there, so i left a mesage and got no call all day. Kinda sucks. But Ive been thinking, how much more boring can I get away with without changing the crank? And then what can I do about a fix for the fueling? I wouldnt want to be looking into a custom tune, but if i could do 1.9 liters instead of 1.8 and not change the crank that would be swizel
83mm is the max bore. Bob should have some standerd pin 83mm pistons in stock and ready to ship. That would take you to just under 1.9L. Fueling should be fine. At worst you may need a 5bar fpr
It would increase both base hp/tq and spool the turbo faster. Not 100% sure on how much yet, but worth is up to you. Only thing i can say is if your going to bore it, go 83mm since it cost the same, might as well get more out of it.
