So if I get a GIAC or APR chip... that mean I do not have to fuss with the diode, N75, etc?

I would like to get to around 15lbs... I think I would be happy about there.

Problem I am having is, I have had faster cars I loved less... So I really need to get this scoot scooting lol

If you already have a KO4 and FMIC installed, get your ECU chipped with the PC-16 file from GIAC and the corresponding injectors. You'll be pushing close to 20 psi I think, and about 250 horses... That, my friend, is the missing piece.

All seems fine to me, not sure why you think you should be making more.

Send your ECU into a company of your choice, install it back in your car and drive. Yes it's that simple.

PC-16 is for AEB engine codes, his is ATW. I'm not sure if GIAC has a good K04 program for ATW or not... in the best case a K04 will put out about 190awhp.

PC-16 is for AEB engine codes
I was not aware of this, I thought they had a KO4 tune for all the 1.8Ts. Maybe they do, it's just not called PC-16.

That kinda blows
Given about 25% drive train loss to the AWD system, 190 HP at the wheels is not that bad, given stock is about 170 HP at the crank (127 at the wheels). Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

So GIAC does have a chip for the ATW it's a J31... in reading up on it it sounds like it originally was a "chip" only, but possibly now a flashable file. I read it is kind of an aggressive file and threads I read of owners they all seemed very happy with it. So it sounds like the direction I'm headed.

I didn't mean to sound like I wouldn't be happy, heck... I'm pretty happy with it now lol

you have the ko4 and the supporting mods. just make sure you find a tune for a ko4 set up to make sure you get the most out of it.
