I'm assuming that your car is running OK?

It sounds more to me like an ignition switch problem.

The multifunction switch shouldn't affect the wipers.

Car is Running GREAT. only problems are no turn signals,(hazards work) no Wipers or wiper fluid spray, and no headlights. high beams are fine when held back but not when pressed and locked foward. really starting to think its teh headlight switch but i dont know what to do about the wipers.

Its most probably a ignition switch problem. search your year and car model + recall on google and something will pop up.

i changed the ignition switch and everything works but i messed up the placement of the actual ignition you put the key into.

Does anyone know how to adjust it? i think its stuck so taht it starts on accessory. now my car wont start but i do have all of my pwer back. lights wipers and horn etc.

Thanks

Before the car dies, does is say something in the center display about security mode? The extra key the dealership gave us for the Passat would start the car for a few seconds, and then stop. But the radio etc worked. They had to reprogram the key for the car.

Try a throttle body alignment.
