PO411 Error Code
So a couple of weeks ago, I was having a problem with my temperature gauge reading erratically, some times normal and sometimes real low. So I replaced the CTS (Coolant Temperature Sensor) and all seemed well and good. Then we had a cool morning (52 F). I started the car and proceded to drive in to work. Within a mile of my house, the CEL illuminated. I pulled over and checked the code, P0411 Secondary air injection system, incorrect flow! I cleared the code and drove into work with no re-occurance.
At home later that evening, I chose to investigate, starting with the simple things first, I checked the vacuum lines. The vacuum line going to the secondary air injection check valve had becom brittle and broke when I was replacing the CTS. I replaced the line, and again all is good! (note to self, smaller hands can be advantagous, big meat hooks not always good!)
