Default power window reset question

I had to remove the battery tonight, to clean out the drain tray holes as they were plugged. Put the battery back in, got the radio code in, got the one touch windows set back up.
One thing I searched for, and cannot find, is how do I reset it so all the windows will roll down automatically by holding the key to the left? If I hold the key to the right, any open windows will roll up.

But, they wont roll down automatically. I used to be able to hold the key to the left after unlocking the doors, and all the windows would roll down.

Not that its urgent, as it is wintertime, but I'd like to know for future reference.

Buehler? Anyone? Anyone have the magic answer?

Thanks guys! (*and gals!)

wtf, i thought you were abducted by aliens haha. nice to see you again.

i've never had that problem. the left turn always work right away after i hook the battery back up. check to see if you have codes. i thought somebody in your area had vag com for the remote windows?

Lol, yeah, luckily there was no **** probing.

Just having a hard time finding time lately to get on the forum, unless I really get stuck with something.

I think you are right though, I may need onepoint8tee to lend me the vag-com, That may be how I fixed it the last time.

Once I figure it out I'll post it in case anyone else ever has the same issue.

The windows will all roll up by holding the key, but not down holding it the other way.

Thanks!
