Default Question about ABS Light

Hi,
Couples month ago, I got the abs light and brake light on. So I checked on internet and on this forum to know what happened. I finally went to an audi dealer and they said that the abs module was "broken" and It was like 2000$ bucks to repair it !!! Too expensive for me lol
I would like to know if there is a cheap way to repair it ? I saw that a company repair some of the module but I do not know if it still the case. I check on ebay but i have found lots of abs module

Any idea ?

Thanks guys

Default RE: Question about ABS Light

I believe that the ABS system Audi uses is comprised of three parts, a computer, pump, and pressure modulator. I believe it is possible to replace one of these parts independent from the others, which is what rebuilding the ABS does. If you can find someone to do it for cheaper and they seem reliable, it might be worth the risk. I would personally rather just buy the part new, seeing as the whole braking / ABS system is a little more important safety wise then something such as a radio or the like.
