remove tps or not
I'm doing a rear bearing, and I'm confused about something. Some of the diys say to remove the tps sensor, some dont. If I'm using tooling to remove the bearing, why bother removing the sensor? ECS tool instructions say to remove, but the diys where you take the hub to a machine shop, you don't remove.

I think it's more of a safety instruction. To do it the "exact" way instead of cutting corners. But if you can cut that corner and know you're not going to harm it (and therefor need to buy a new one) you're probably fine.

Thanks. I wish the instructions had been a little better. When they say remove something, its usually required. In this case a better instruction would be that's its advised, but you'll probably destroy the sensor if you try. Would have saved a $100 sensor knowing that. Oh well, 20 20 hind sight.
