Hey Guys. Just signed up after looking through the posts many times. Great site with awesome info.

I just picked up a 2001 a4 2.8. Noticed the radio came in like crap, figured i'd take a look at the radio amplifiers. Well when i pulled the back deck off i noticed all the wiring to the antenna amplifiers are gone! i cant even see where they go into the vehicle harness, its like the moron took just the two wires completely out of the car, but nice enough to leave the connectors in the amplifiers.

Question is, does anyone have a diagram or if some one could show me a picture of were the wires come out of the harness at, so that i can search for them.

is tyhe stock radio still in? if your going to take the time you might as well run a good system, aftermaket i mean

 

Yeah its stock. I'll be looking into aftermarket units. It's amazing what some people do to cars. It's like the two wires were taken completely out, no where to be found, even with taking the panels off. Thanks

 

ha man you should see mine there was aftermarket fronts not hooked up but wired to something, rears wired to the fronts the head unit wires were so fucked up they were somehow wired into each other, a two channel amp trying to run 4 speakers. its so easy just to buy the adaptor and run the 4 main cables off of it, run speaker wires and power back to the amp and sound ten times better. what head unit do you have i have the concert pin diagram but thats it

 

I have the bose unit. Im just gona wire up a system. I looked through every harness towards the back, no wires found. Just the ones they cut at the amplifiers.

 

id do aftermarket the bose is outdated
