I bought a new hfc but it will not be here until next week. I wont have time to take out the old cat and install the new cat in one day. Has anybody ever driven with out a cat installed for a couple days?

 

on my 97 1.8t my primary cat rusted off the back of the turbo. I drove like that for 2 days and babied the hell out of. I was told not to boost because of the lack of back pressure or something like that. but i wouldnt drive without a cat. it sucked and it was louder than hell
