I'd be careful about a resonator delete and a perf core muffler. My friend did it and it was brain-rattling loud (12v V6). He installed a Vibrant 12" resonator afterward and it helped a lot, but with no resonator and a Magnaflow 14816 it was loud enough to be painful.

I can see a 1.8T being quieter due to having the restriction of the turbine as a semi-silencer vs my buddy's V6, which had nothing of the sort. I know my twin turbo Z was quieter with catback/DPs/TPs than my friend's NA setup with headers and catback, but running through the OEM cats.

Like it mentioned it the OP, it's already so f-ing loud and is giving me a headache. I should be running with earplugs in. It's currently off at the flexpipe...talk about loud! I just need it so it's a little quieter and emissions friendly so I stop choking on the fumes.
