Reusing Timing belt tensioner

why be cheap when it comes to the life of the car the engine. Especially the tensioner. If it goes it 99% of the time screws the timing belt and might jump

My tensioner didn't look anything like the one posted eariler... Maybe the pulley portion but it had an arm w/ a spring loaded hydraulic piston I thought. It's been months though and it was late when I did it. Thank God I didn't screw anything up lol shouldn't have been working on my car till 1 am doing a TB job... things can go seriously wrong when your tired.

Akielb I think your right. I did some deep research and found a few diy's and not one of em has anything about pulling the pin on the tensioner so that must be right. Called a shop and they said that was the tensioner too. Thanks a lot guys I appreciate it.
