Are our b5s supposed to have push down and to the left reverse for manuals? Mine has this Name: 62f4fc69.jpg Views: 85 Size: 81.3 KB

After 01 there was no push down.

No kidding? Weird - my 99 does. Are you straight 99 or 99.5 facelift?

somewhere in the grey area. had partial facelift interior not the full facelift

You can delete the push down when installing a aftermarket shifter.

i did it on accident on my old car, and fixed it later.

I've driven a couple of Jetta's that had push-down reverse but it was all the way to the left and then back, to the left of second. Very odd...

Yes thats what i was talking about. My friends 2000 Jetta has push down and up and to the left reverse. Mines like that pic with no push down and reverse down to the right. Its a 99.5 a4.
