If he gets a mid 70's Chevy sedan he can go with 32" and really look like a playa.

An A6 can pull it off, an A8 looks good on them, but an A4 is just too small to wear them without compromises in ride and drivability, acceleration, braking, etc

My last vehicle was a Yukon on 22's, but you're not going to see me trying to put these on my B5:

"Them two twelves Dawg! Gotta have 'em. "

-I'm being a bit hypocritical here, because every vehicle I've owned before my current B5 & MDX had a system in it.

I was also the neighborhood/"I know a friend" system hook-up guy. I even went & got (and still have) my MECP certification, just because I knew I could pass the test.

Having said that: I have every right to make fun of the lames who don't know what a proper, classy setup is............So lets just throw that **** in there and see if we can make the trunk rattle louder than the suspension.

Lol that makes one of us then. Maybe because I'm a senior citizen (I'm 39), and I live in NY where the roads suck, but I just think the wheels are dumb for all the reasons I listed above. The proportions are off, there's no room for suspension travel - it's just cartoonish.

I wouldn't go any bigger than 18's, anything bigger looks silly in my opinion. Unless you live in the south then he should go with some 30's or something.

I'm with you Dawg! Love it when all the sheite on the ride rattles louder than the twelves. I remember when JBL 12"s were honkin' back in the 60s. Damn old school for sure. Fender Bassman turned up and rockin'
