Default Road vibration

Hi - I have a 1999/2000 A4 which has factory fitted audi sports suspension. It's obviously more sensitive to the road than normal suspension but here's the thing - it's cool over speed bumps and behaves as expected but on minor road distortions such as an uneven road surface (sorry, I'm probably not too good at describing road conditions except to say that Sydney's local roads are crap and a test on any decent suspension) I can feel a kind of 'wobble' in the underside of the vehicle as it passes over which obviously comes from the suspension although you can feel it through the underside of the body and through the brake/accelerator pedals (nowhere else). I've just had the suspension looked at and serviced this included replacing the bushes, upper and lower control arms front and rear and tie rods as well (the shocks were fine and didn't need replacing) as the wheels realigned but this vibration was there before that so I'm wondering if this is a normal thing with Audi's? Don't want to have to fork out another small fortune in repair costs.

its hard to say with that description, but things you can look into would be motor/transmission mounts, snub engine mount, sway bar end links, and all the little rubber bushings that get worn out and cracked in the four-link setup. if your going to replace anything just get some upgraded shocks and springs and you will be happy.
