soo my brakes strt to make this just awefull screeching noise nd i think my pads are gone so i check them and they are a bit old but the pads are still good..my rotors are scratched? could the scratched rotors cause the nasty screeching noise? ? ? please respond that noise is annoying....

 

If it's a grinding type noise then the rotors are probably warped. I had this on the rear when I installed some EBC pads, they wrecked the discs and the braking power from the rear was poor, so I had them all replaced with OEM stuff.
