Default Secondary air pump output pipe replacement

why can't i just use a piece of tubing or black rubber automotive pipe to replace the output flex hose on the Secondary Air Pump? Official replacement costs at least $70 at ECS Tuning.

Can't think of any reason you couldn't.

You'd be hard pressed to find something more flimsy than what Audi put on there.

Default replacement pipe

Thanks for the response. Note that my belly pan is long gone and that may contribute so some air turbulence down there resulting in failure. Devil, what's this Baller stuff? you got game? Cheers

Lol I'm 37 and married with kids. Those days are behind me. Call it a tip of the hat for nostalgia, and besides, awhile back Randy (Kriptonik) had "swag moderator" on his, and I didn't want to leave all the fun to him

Thumbs up even older.....

I heard that Devil. gotta keep up with the other handles. my two kids have drivers licenses thus I'm always under or over a car. I've got a 2003 sweet f150 (wife has a nice lease so at least I don't work on that one other than oil) so keeping my fleet on the road is my hobby. plus, I'm cheap.

Not sure if you still need help on this or not, but I recently had to replace that tubing as well. I ended up getting 7/8" tubing and broke the connectors off of the original crappy tubing that came on it and took the new tubing and attached it on with those metal rings(can't remember the name for the life of me). It worked out incredibly well and looked better than stock!
