SMIC + FMIC?

for curiosities sake:

what is the stock SMIC good for hp and boost wise? i only ask because some stock intercooler setups are far more efficient then anything that can be bought on ebay, so long as you upgrade to hard pipes with good couplers. my stock FMIC on my supra was good for 400 hp at well over 15psi. thats probably more hp then most supra owners push but they all upgrade anyways. hmm.

OK. After getting some feedback about it, I thought I'd try it if it was not a lot of trouble to run the piping from my FMIC to my SMIC but it was practically impossible without going to a muffler shop. It would have required a strange Z shaped run. So I ripped that ***** out!

you could probably do it if you put something in between them to suck in more air. but it's overkill lol

Agreed - you're not going to gain from it, and you'll likely lose response time trying to boost through two IC cores and the extra piping.
