Sport Suspension Mods...
Hello Audi owners.... I've established that my vehicle contains the sport suspension option.. I was wondering, if i would want to lower my car, would i have to purchase only the H&R springs or would it be recommended to get new coilovers all together...

ur gonna need to be more specific on what ur lookin for??
do you want just looks; or better handling as well??
also how much are you willing to spend on it?
obviously since you already have sport susp you would have to go either race springs or coilovers!
you can get race springs as cheap as 200 bucks with free shipping (i think the sport shocks you have would do the job, but aftermarket sport shocks are probably still recomended)
if you want the cheapest way to lower ur car the most, (if that made sense lol) it'll probably be vmaxx coilovers!
i've heard lots of good stuff about them on b5s (not so good on other cars tho) the only thing is that the spring rate is pretty much the same as the stock susp. but it will give you a bit better handling since ur lowering the center of gravity.
sometimes you'll find these on sale for about $550 or 600 and free shipping!

If you simply want better handling, throw on a set of Hotckis sway bars.
If you want to lower it, Bilstein HDs or sport shocks are recommended to take out the excess bounce with H&R or Eibach springs, but you can get away with the stock sport shocks if you don't mind a slightly bouncy ride.
Adjustable coil overs are a whole different stry. Search for lots of info.

Not much, S4 stuff would only lower a non sport 2.8 to about sport height. If its 1.8 you can use the S4 shocks and get 1.8 specific springs, but again would only lower slightly depending in spring choice. I have sport shocks with H&R sport springs and the ride is slightly bouncy and its a little less than a 2 finger gap all around.
