Depends on the shocks, but yeah some will do it. The S4 sits considerably lower than either my or Hiwords' non-sport A4 30v cars. We both have S4 springs, and the ride height is virtually unchanged (ride quality though is vastly improved). If struts and springs are the cause of the height difference between A4 and S4, and the S4 springs don't equal it out, the struts must be why.
