Well, that's all it is right now, a plan. Next month I head back to Iraq and start making a little extra money. I'll start ordering parts and stockpiling them for when I get back, then take the car off the road for a week or two and just install everything. Once it's done, I'll unleash the beast on the world! (Of course, only after a good break in period).

I plan on getting a lot of maintenance stuff done while I'm at it. The basics, TB, CAs, CVs and stuff like that.

Thanks for the encouragement, I'll be sure to keep things posted as I buy, then eventually install things...

I took a virtual peek under your hood. How much boost are you pushing with the 3076, how much power are you making, and how bad is the lag?

Just have to be carefull with E85 because the knock sensors dont work correctly when running it and this means the ecu can not adjust for too much timing.

Another A4 owner in CO found that out the hard way by pushing the timing too far and blowing the motor. He was running a GIAC tune for E85 and then kept adding more timing till it let go.

E85 does make more power then standard pump gas and cost less money then running unleaded race gas, but mainly it burns cleaner which is why it is produced.

For racing or making big power the fuel to use is Q16 which is 117 octane. Best fuels to use are the ones with the smallest difference between RON and MON.

I have been closely monitoring the knock sensors. Where did you hear that the knock sensors not functioning with e-85? I had put the car on a scope and there is no evidence of malfunction of the knock sensors. engine knock is knock. LOL, what idiot kept adding more timing and blew it? Good rule of thumb is to try and not go past 10 degrees anyways. Otherwise your not gaining much of anything except kaboom. Plus, Iv'e been tuning cars for way too long to blow my baby.

And Yes I agree that the race fuel is the way to go for sure, but your draging yours on the track and I drive mine on the road. Plus it is very expensive. I wish I can q16 everyday. that would be awsome!

About 20-21.5 psi. I don't want to go past that untill I replace the rods. Which will be my 2.0 build. Unitronics said their stock tune puts down around ~450hp out of the engine with that turbo. Turbo starts to build boost around ~3000rpm but doesn't boil till about ~4100rpm. New cams would help that a little too. I'm going to wait till I build the engine, then with the access to the flow bench I have, it is going to be nasty. I'm going to be putting sick numbers down.

You're in Colorado, Mike's in Cali. When you're done, I wish I could see the two of you at a couple trips down the strip... What a sight that would be! Two B5s stroked over to 2.0 pushing crazy boost tearing down the drag strip...

If it EVER happens, you guys better post some videos up here!!!
