The owner before me was a rich snobby artist that lived in the mountains and used the warrenty to its full effect. which is a good thing for me, but it also came with its downsides, she didnt like the way the steering wheel "felt". she said it was too sporty. so they downgraded her to the non-quattro steering wheel, or at least i think thats what it is. anyways, its not a huge deal, but it would make me very happy if i could somehow get the quattro steering wheel back instead of the other one. ive already checked local junkyards and such so im relying on you guys to know someone, or even have one laying around. id be willing to pay for one, depending on quallity. but i def. want one. get back to me, please

 

What you're looking for is the sport steering wheel. You can find facelift sport steering wheels available no problem, but finding the prefacelift ones is more difficult. Expect to spend $150-250, I lucked out and got mine for $150 because the guy didn't know how much more rare the prefacelift sport wheels are.

I made the mistake of purchasing a facelift wheel and realizing it won't fit. 2 months later I just may have a purchaser for it.

Keep scouring all the forum's classified sections, I eventually got mine that way. It is a night and day difference.

Not quite all of the pre-99s have stubby mirrors, my 99 has a regular one, I think thats why there is a blank picture there (maybe theres some of both?).
