Struts make noise when driving slow. ANNOYING
hey guys so recently all my 4 struts started to squeak when its warm or hot out and when its cold its quiet. Just wondering how could i fix that. Could i spray something or what to stop that annoying sound
Your sure it's from all 4 sides? Not just one side sounding badly? I would also look at the control arm bushings and you use some WD40. My rear passenger side is making a nice creak sound slow over bumps but I can't tell yet if it's my shock or a bushing.
Yeah i think its more likely control arm(s) than your shocks. I've replaced several of mine and the squeak goes away every time. The WD40 will help a little, but you're eventually gonna have to replace some-or more likely all-of them soon. Another thing you might try is to get a grease gun with a needle on the end, not the grease fitting, but the little needle. And pump the bushings full of grease. They aren't designed for that, which is why there's no grease fittings, but it'll help the squeak so it doesn't drive you nuts while you're waiting to replace them
