Stuck steering

Thanks for the info.
But just for my curiosity, now that I am here, I would like to know how to take the entire front part off. Do I have to disconnect the coolant lines for that and if so, at which point should I disconnect?
Tx again

When I did my timing belt, I drained the coolant and disconnected the upper coolant line and lower coolant line. However, my 2.8 has an auto transmission and you can't disconnect the tranny coolant lines (it's a sealed system).
In my case, I was able to fully disconnect one side, and then rotate the front assembly about 45 degrees, which gives you plenty of access to everything.

I will continue with it tomorrow now. I am sitting clean after taking a shower and no way, I am getting messy again for today. LOL!

Thanks to all of you guys...
I changed the serpentine belt this weekend. Because of amazing directions, it felt like a piece of cake. I also inspected the timing belt just to make sure and it looked pristine. Rest of the belts looked just fine as well.
Will see how long this ride lasts before I gotta give it more love.
