Yesterday, I left my house at 5:30am for work and she started perfectly like she always would. I was roughly 1 block away from my office, so I made a right turn on this one way road where our parking garage is located...then she started to stutter, off and on for a 5 sec's. I gave her some gas which kept her running a few sec's longer.. then all of a sudden...she shuts off. I towed her home after work and now I can't get her started again.

First thing I thought was maybe the fuel pump failed or something.. but after investigating...I found out that the Engine Timing fuse was blown. I replaced it and she magically came to life.

The problem is...she idle's fine in park'd but when I put her in Drive (tiptronic)...she stutters like crazy...like she wants to shut off but doesnt...HELP whats causing her to act like this?...thanks in advance! Btw, I had a Vagcom...but my laptop was stolen a few weeks ago =(.

 

sounds like a misfire. can't be certain without codes.

 

Do you think it could be a coilpack even if its idl'ing fine in park'd?

 

Update: Few mins ago I was digging around trying to find out whats wrong with her...I check the same fuse #32(engine timing)20 amp fuse...the new fuse I replaced it with yesterday blew too when trying to start her...wtf?.. I replace it with another one and that one blew...then I figured maybe trying a 30 amp fuse and that one was a gone'r too...

HELP PLEASE! Whats causing all these fuse's to blow?

 

Need codes.. Or eyes on. Kinda hard to tell from here.

wow what ever you replace that fuse on.. theres a bad ground or w.e it is. is shot to hell
