i ordered a suspension kit from ebay made by DP (Deutsche Parts) including, control arms, tie rods, ball joints, sway bar links and all hardware. i got the kit for around 180$ i want to know how good these kits are and if it is going to fail on me in the near future. i plan to install all parts myself with a friend in the next week. any tips or advice would help. also the kit came with 3 sway bar links? was this a mistake or is there a third link down there somewhere? thanks for the help

 

3 sway bar end links? That sounds like 1 too many lol.. As for the quality, I don't know. Check back with us in a year and let us know!

 

Yeah, that's one too many sway bar links. You could always sell the extra.

 

haha thats what i figured. i didnt think they would send an "extra" tho because it was only 180. must have been a mistake. everything i have read about changing these parts is that they are hell. hopefully it will go better for me and i live in the northeast...... never helps

 

Old addage: you get what you pay for and remember ebay doesn't qualify any sellers!! Buyer beware. Sorry, I've never heard of that brand.

I just replaced the entire front end on my 2004 A6: Control Arms (Meyle), TRE (Meyle), Struts (Bilstein),and transaxle (rebuilt). Parts were purchased from FCP Groton for around $900. I sleep a lot better at night now.
