Default tell me I'm not crazy

Ok, so I recently installed a Motorola T605 bluetooth kit in my car. I got it off ebay for about $40 and it works great. I don't know what I was doing without it for so long. If you're interested in the mod yourself, here it is.

Anyway, I put the module behind the glovebox and all was working smoothly, I did the mod last week. Then today I went out to the car to fetch the owner's manual, opened the glovebox, and it slammed down on me. I could have sworn it gradually came down. I didn't remove the glovebox. I merely popped off the panel on the side (the pannel that covers the fuse box, but on the passenger side) and placed the module in the gap there. I can't seem to remember if the glovebox always slammed down like that lol. I guess it's one of those small features that go unnoticed. Anyway, if I'm not crazy, can someone give me an idea of how to fix it? Thanks

cant say whether mine is slow or abrupt. but its one of those things i typically dont mind much. just put your face next to it when you are going to open it and you should be alright.

You're not crazy,i have a 2001 A4 B5 AWM and the glove box came down slow for me but since i removed the part that allows the glove box to slide down slow,it opens fast, not a big deal as it effects nothing.

It became jammed somehow,so i messed with it and it worked but keeps on getting jammed,so i just took out the slider thingies.
