tension pulley remove audi a4 v6
Long story short, my buddy's tension pulley burnt up and I'm in the middle or replacing it and the belt. The Manuel is not very helpful since its says take off and put back on and torq.
My problem is I can't get the thing out! I just don't have the right clearance at all. Maybe if I could remove the electric fan but so for I can't seem to get that out ether. Does anyone have any ideas? Am I overlooking something?
Any help or advice would be great right now.
Thanks in advance
Stefan

You should be doing this with the bumper off and core support opened for the best access to everything (although it can be done as you're doing it, but it's a pain). Check the DIY section and follow the instructions for doing a timing belt. It'll walk you through all of the things you need to do.
