Yeah, I didn't think about the smell of burning brakes. The weird thing is that when I back out of the driveway, the wheel moves to the other side by itself. I'm gonna take back to were I got the alignment done tomorrow, maybe they can tell me what the problem is. I got to get this taken care of cause my arms are getting tired.

If your wheels are straight and your driveway doesn't have any major problems then something is screwed up for sure. But brakes can make your car pull and will make the steering wheel move if you don't hold it, too, so it could be that, or it could be something else.

What happens if you jack up each wheel and try to spin it by hand with the car in neutral and the brakes/e-brake off? (use wheel chocks.) All of your wheels should spin pretty freely. A little bit of drag is fine but there shouldn't be much.

 

Well now I'm not sure it is brakes. When I replaced the caliper the other day, I had been driving just prior to doing the work. That wheel wasn't excessively hot and there was no smell.

 

Boy do I feel dumb! I went back to Belle Tire to have them recheck the alignment, which turned out to be fine. The rotated the tires front to back (I have directional tires) and its as good as new! I didn't really think about that before because I think I rotated the tires last May when I put on my new springs. Oh well, thanks for all the advise.

 

Er, rotating the tires should not fix that. Tire rotation is not important for anything other than somewhat equalizing the wear between all of your tires. Either they fixed something while doing it or maybe you have a bum wheel or something and moving it to the back is masking the problem.

A video of what? I don't know about a bent wheel, cause I haven't hit any big potholes this year. I hit a few last year, which was bad enough to make me replace two tires, but the pulling only started in the last month. Well what ever it was, its gone now. And that makes me happy.
