Default Thinking about buying another A4 tomorrow??Any help is appreciated.

wrecked the one i had really bad before so im in the market for another A4. Im currently looking at a 2001 silver A4 b5 selling for 4k but im kinda confident that i can lower it to about 3.5k. interrior/exterrior 8/10.

will need new tires soon. has slight dent on rear driver side area under door.

engine transmission drives pretty good but has check engine code P0411
Secondary Air Injection Incorrect Upstream flow detected.

Has a slight surge when idling from turning on the ignition.
anybody have any experience wit this code can pleas enlighten me?
This CEL is the only thing keeping me from getting the car.
Any help is appreciated

I threw that code for ages and my car was never really negatively affected. It was thrown after the SAP got jolted in a fender bender and I ignored it, eventually the SAP stopped working for good and I still didn't give a ****. And actually, if you can't get a paintless puller to pull it, the dent is more expensive than any piddly-*** code like that.

Rip out the SAI system and get a tuner to delete it from your ECU, voila.

Or just ignore it like I did.

Ignoring it is fine if you don't have emissions as part of your inspection. If you do, you'd have to fix it or have it deleted from your tuning. Not sure what tuners offer that option though.

I offer that option. With a hacksaw and a hammer.
