im looking at their order page and dont see a plain old HEX-USB (without +CAN, which you dont need) the KEY-COM and KII-USB are the ones you want. only difference is one is USB and one is a COM cable. some computers may not have COM ports as its an older technology then USB. and USB is basicly plug and play, no configuration. either the $229 or the $249 ones are what you want.

Ok, thank you!

All of my vag-com questions have been answered, I'm off to buy the software.

Question: So purchasing the cable off ebay and using the full licensed version of Vag Com (409), is the best way to go?

I've recently purchased the cable from ebay, and I'm using it with the shareware version. I wasn't sure if I needed the full version of Vag Com or not.

Can I resent the maintenance intervals? For example, I have the "service" flash at me every time I start the car. Any guidance on how to do this would be great.
