Timing belt not wanting to line up.
So i just spent 4 hours trying to get my timing belt perfectly on, and turns out it refuses to match up.
I tried switching a tooth over and then is was to far, and when i got it to as close as i possibly could it still manages to be off.
During these pictures the crankshaft is set to exactly TDC.
Heres a picture of the cam gear lining up with the valve cover,

Heres the intake cam

Heres the exhaust cam

Yup, no problem. It's always nerve-wracking when it comes to critical servicing. If you wanted to set it up absolutely dead-on, this is where you'd use a cam-locking tool with the crank attachment - you could lock things into place, loosen the center cam sprocket bolt, and rotate the sprocket until it lined up perfectly, then torque it back down. It's not necessary though, so don't sweat it.
are you sure? pretty sure the exhaust would be on the left side and the intake on the right side. sorry just had to point that out but timing looks pretty decent to me
That's what happens when you put the img links in before you type what you want to say.
