Only thing I can think of is that the pump is toast or maybe the NEW filter is clogged?

Ok so I had checked the fluid as per benlty and fluid came sloshing out of the check/fill hole...which is odd because last I checked it was at the right level.

So today I thought Id getter a better look I drained it and dropped the pan it wasnt verry pretty for fluid with less than 15K on magnets had some build up on the already.

The most interesting thing was the partially colapsed filter which explains the extra fluid in the pan and the slipping...too much fluid was sitting in the pan because it wasnt getting through the clogged filter thusly starving the tranny causing it to sh*t itself....

guess I will replace the filter refill and try again and if it doesnt blow chunks Ill prolly drain the fluid after a few drives to get all the old fluid outta the converter and refill again lol

Ok So I when I went to refill I thought maybe theres still some fluid in the cooler.
So I disconnected one of the lines and let it drain... eh not that much but I figure hey I hook my pump up to it see if I can suck any more out...and suck it did....
After draining for 3 days there was still a quart in the cooler and wherever the supply and return lines go maybe pump?
After that I Filled it and filled it and filled some more (it took 8 Quarts )

Then I was ready to try her out: As I put her in drive I got the telltale noise of an ailing ZF tranny put it in 2nd revs got to about 3k and it started sqealing...(I was honestly thinking about lightin the bitch on fire) but as I kept driving it seemed to go away but I had to park it cuz I had to go somewhere.

Today I started it up no noise and I said "this is good" so I started drivining up the street like an old lady no noise..."this is good" turned around at end of street and promptly went to WOT tires smoking banged through the gears shifts felt great...no noise and as the neighbors give me the stinkiest stink eyes youve ever seen I thought "this is Gooooooood"...

so anyone wanna buy my car before it brakes again?

LOL

Yeah I haven't been posting much. I am around here most everyday tho.

Are you chipped? You sure you weren't just getting the typical gear hunting between 4th and 5th when in high rpm? I get it on occasion - it happens when the car is chipped.

No it got to the point where I couldnt do above 3k rpm the tranny would screach and start to lock up ... but its good for now

Yah Chipped with K04 any many other things... From what Ive read this is the weakest tranny the FWD version is different than quattro and 240HP is past what it likes...
