They are Halogens, just projectors. Anyhow, DDMTuning it is, I am thinking about ordering someone.

Just to add to the original topic, here's a shot from last night well after dark. All four HIDs are on.

Are those 35w ballast? Your 600K lights look nice, I'm debating between 6k and 8k

Luminosity isn't as high on the 8000k bulbs as it is on the 6000k, and on the road (as you can see in the picture) the light from the 6000k kit is very bright and richly white, whereas the 8000k will be distinctly more blue on the road. The farther into the blue spectrum you go, the lower the amount of usable light you will get.

Stick with the 6000k - you'll be happy with the light and they do still have some tinge of blue when you look at them (see the first post in the thread). And yes, all four are on 35w ballasts.

Good to know, I already wear glasses and my nighttime vision isn't that great.

HIDs will definitely help with that

I think I'm putting mine in tomorrow and will put pics of a 8000 set-up tomorrow night if I do get around to it so you can compare.

here's a couple of my setup with 8000's. Stock Hid headlights with 8000's and the fog light kit. My headlights require serious readjustment but here's what I got right now.

Looks great bro - funny though because the headlight alignment makes the low beams look like halogens. Definitely gotta aim those and it'll look perfect
