Did a search - but my question wasnt really addressed.

I get some serious slop and clunk when shifting from 1st to 2nd, especially on first start. I am thinking a transmission mount would help. Most of the reviews i have read say that upgrading/replacing transmission mounts alleviates some of the slop. However, i do NOT want any vibrations. I replaced the OEM motor mounts recently and got a 034 snub in there. What would be my best bet? more 034 product? or something from stern? Do i replace both mounts? or just passenger side?

Pretty sure i can do this myself too. Doesn't seem too hard.

any tips?

 

It's kind of a pain in the *** but not too bad. If your mounts are worn, new OEM A4 mounts will fix it and you won't get vibration.
