Default Transmission Mount - Help!

Hey Guys,

So after taking my car to a shop to inspect for a horrible vibration/noise/clunking here and there, I need a transmission mount. Local parts stores around me have it for $190.00+

I am looking online but I am having trouble finding exactly which mount, according t the mechanic its the middle mount that connects to the cross member. I am only finding left or right mounts.

Can anybody please point me to a website that has the mount I need, or provide a part number or something?

my car is a 2004 A4 (B6) 3.0L 6spd

Thanks in advance,

Ryan

Etka shows the subframe that the mount bolts to has to be changed in order for the mount to bolt up. The mount (comes with a bracket that goes from mount to trans) is 8E0399105HR for 144.00, and the subframe is 8E0399263BH for 187.50 dollars for these OEM Audi parts. It looks like the trans mount has been updated and won't fit without using that subframe as well.

Let us know if you have any questions. Thank you, Jeff.

Audi changed it so that you have to buy the whole thing if you want a new OEM mount. Other options would be to buy an aftermarket mount like the 034 Density or Stern Pro transmission mount. Those run around $70.

Thanks for the input guys.

So if I purchase the Stern Pro transmission mount, thats all I need?

Also, the Stern Pro transmission mount shows to not fit my car, only 96-01 a4 b6's, I have a 2004 3.0 6spd quattro (b6)

Correct, it replaces just the stock mount.

Quick question...why are you replacing the tranny mounts in your car? Obviously they went bad but did you feel it when you shifted the car?
