So...audi recons my turbo is done for. They think that the seal is blown inside it so oil is leaking into it, explaining my carboned up exhause and that ruined the O2 sensor making the car freak out. Now, i want big turbo, but at this point in time, i cant afford to go big turbo, and get an intercooler and all the supporting crap. I want a gt28rs, i wanted to go with APR but their so d@mn expencive. im lost here...

 

dude.....sounds like a K03s or a K04 is in your immediate future....lol

i am located in Redding and if can remember correctly you were located somewhere in the chico area....if you are in need of some help with a turbo install, a i would be more than happy to help and there is another guy who lives up here who would probably also be down to help...

Does turbo blow out faster when chipped ?

 

it can, but this is a problem that isnt too common. chipping your car will increase the wear but there are guys on here that have been chipped for a long a$$ time and not had things break. if something breaks while chipped, it was going to break anyway, it just went a little sooner because of the chip

 

So im heavily considering the GT28RS kit from ATP-turbo

That setup is about 2.4k, and im pretty sure with that i will go Unitronics, but im not sure what injector size to get. also, i cant find their website again for the life of me
